Based in Portland, Oregon, JENSTAR HACKER runs HACKER SOUND + MUSIC, a full post-production audio facility.

Jenstar and her team work and collaborate in-person and remotely with directors, production teams and companies from Los Angeles to New York, Portland Oregon and beyond.

From shorts to features, commercials to podcasts, Jenstar’s tools and creative vision elevate the experience of bringing new audiovisual mythologies to life. She lives for collaborations that tell stories outside of the dominant narrative and paradigm. 

Getting to do both the post-audio work and film scoring infuses Jenstar’s work with an artist’s sensibility and care. She is expert at moving between the technical and creative needs of each project she is honored to be a part of.

Jenstar is a graduate of Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema (CUNY Brooklyn College) with an MFA in Media Scoring. She is a proud member of the Alliance for Women Film Composers and The Society for Composers & Lyricists and is mentored by Catherine Joy and JoAnne Harris.

Kaiya Lind is a Portland-based producer, actor, and studio manager dedicated to empowering creatives and bringing compelling stories to life. With a multifaceted background in production and performance, she is passionate about fostering collaboration and helping artists realize their vision from concept to completion.

A proud jack-of-all-trades and art school dropout, Kaiya is the former writer of the satirical parenting blog Kaiya Tries and a producer on the show Beaver State. These days, she balances life with three energetic kids while supporting Jenstar in a wide range of creative and operational needs.
